«MULTITASKING»: OPPORTUNITY OR DISPERSION?

A relevant aspect of today’s cultural world is the wealth of opportunities, favoured by the speed and power of the tools available.

This way of approach can be summarized by the term «multitasking».

It has brought obvious advantages and facilitation that are apparent to everyone. Perhaps less evident are the costs of this new mindset.

This article presents both sides of multitasking, focusing in particular on the possible repercussions on life decisions.

Here we are dealing with a very important aspect for pastoral care in its ability to present a life project which leads to definitive choices: mindfulness, namely the exercise of awareness.
